| Bio: | Here is a plea from my heart to you Nobody knows me as well as you do You know how hard it is for me to shake the disease That takes hold of my tongue in situations like these note: This Fred is part of Founders' Legacy, an AU RPG where Fred is a Slytherin and George is a Ravenclaw. So yes, the House here is correct. Name: Frederick Gideon Weasley (answers to Fred, Freddie, Fredders and Gred) Age: 16 Pureblood/Halfblood/Muggleborn?: Pureblood House: Slytherin Hair colour: Red Eye colour: Brown Height: 5'11" Weight: 160 lbs. Physical markings: Some small Quidditch scars, slightly calloused fingers from playing Quidditch. Wants a tattoo someday but isn't sure what he wants yet. Appearance: Tall and slightly slender, but well toned from playing Quidditch. Shaggy red hair that gets into his eyes a lot, freckles, and brown eyes. He has a bit of a 'baby face' compared to George, but are identical in every other way. He likes to wear simple clothing in Muggle styles when he can (jumpers, long-sleeved t-shirts, flannel shirts and turtlenecks with denims) in darker colours. He has a pair of black dragonhide boots with silver buckles on them that he wears almost every day without fail. Family: Fred was raised by his father, Arthur, and stepmother, Cordelia (nee Zabini nee Macri). He grew up with his older brothers Bill and Charlie, his stepbrother Blaise Zabini, and his half-sister Elizabeth Ann Weasley. Friends/Allies: Arthur, George, Blaise, Beau, most Slytherins, Draco, Bill, Charlie, Pansy, Harry and their group of friends, Cedric. Current Love Interest: George, but he casually dates girls as well (mostly to not raise any suspicions) Pet(s)/Familiar: An owl named Rowan. Sexual Orientation: Bisexual, but loves George. Personality: Fred can be boisterous, fun-loving, and outgoing. He does have a sinister streak, but he's not a malicious young man at all. He can be a bit of a prankster, and once he met George, he got his twin involved in that. He enjoys inventing things, like George does. He knows how to act properly in polite society when the occasion calls for it, and does have a quieter, more serious side. He doesn't really admit this, but part of him wishes for a simpler life like what George has, and kind of envies George for that. He has a sarcastic wit and his sense of humour can be obnoxious. He pushes people's buttons, tests their limits, tries to get them to expand their boundaries. Strengths: Creative and inventive, good at Charms, loyal to a fault to those he cares for. Weaknesses: George (he can't deny his twin anything), questioning authority, can get quite possessive and overprotective at times, wants to just rush in and fight when he should just stand back and let others do so. Likes: George, Quidditch, his family, his friends, sneaking out of his dorm to sleep with George, inventing things. Dislikes: People who take themselves too seriously, narrow mindedness, injustice, competing against George. Habits: He keeps several scraps of parchment and a quill to jot down ideas he has (he's not as organized as George), runs his fingers through his hair when nervous, looks over his shoulder a lot. History: Fred Weasley was only a year old when his parents divorced, and he went to live with his father, Arthur, and two of his older brothers, Bill and Charlie. He couldn't remember having a twin, but always felt as if something was 'missing', but wasn't sure what that was. Arthur eventually married Cordelia Zabini, and he gained a stepbrother, Blaise and a half-sister, Elizabeth Anne, as a result. He got along fairly well with Blaise, and dotes upon Elizabeth. Fred grew up on the edges of Pureblood society, despite his father's ongoing feud with Lucius Malfoy. He even discovered that Draco Malfoy wasn't half bad, and made friends with Pansy Parkinson. Even though there were Death Eater sympathizers around, Fred never bought into those beliefs. As a child, he would often take things apart and put them back together to see how they worked; along with inventing things for others to use. It wasn't until Fred was on the Hogwarts Express for the first time that he met up with his twin brother George again. After some initial shock, the boys formed a bond that goes beyond description. Once he arrived at Hogwarts, the Sorting Hat debated Gryffindor for him before settling on Slytherin for his desire to succeed. Fred is very much his father's son, having inherited Arthur's love for Muggles and his fascination with Muggle things. He sees both sides of the 'blood purity' struggle, but ultimately believes that people don't choose who they are born to, and that everyone bleeds the same colour blood in the end. Coupled with George's influence, he feels the Death Eaters are going about their beliefs all wrong, and would like nothing more than to see them all in Azkaban for what they have done. He does not, however, hold their crimes against their children (his classmates). He plays on the Slytherin Quidditch team, and he dreads their games against Ravenclaw because he dislikes being competitive against George (he also roots with Ravenclaw every time they play in support of his twin). He hopes to become the team Captain now that Marcus Flint has graduated, and plans on stressing fair play as much as he can, while still doing what they can legally to win. He and George are both inventors, and work on many ideas and pranks together. George is known as the 'sweeter' of the twins, while Fred is the 'prat' and somewhat more sinister. He also enjoys George's stories, encouraging his twin's creative side, since Fred is the more athletic twin. His goal upon graduation is to open a business with George, making and selling their inventions. He holds a grudge against Rita Skeeter for stealing George's idea for the Quick Quote Quill. (A glimpse into the future but not giving anything away: because of his very different history, he and George both survived the War.) [This journal is for roleplaying purposes only.
